I Come From,

I come from Washington State, born into an immigrant culture and family.

I come from an outside culture that is different than the main culture

I come from a big city with the goals of completing my graduate degree

I come from little sleep and lots of homework

I come from strength and tenacity that is unwilling to give up on my goals

I come from love, compassion, and empathy

I come from choices and the road not taken

I come from lectures, articles, and journals

I come from playing with my kids

I come from kindness, surprises, and curiosity

I come from my children learning and laughing
